Dr. Arunava Roy is a highly experienced consultant specializing in gynecologic oncology and robotic surgery. His expertise lies in treating women with various types of cancer affecting the uterus, cervix, ovary, fallopian tubes, peritoneal surface, vulva, and vagina. Dr. Roy received specialized training in oncological surgery from the Tata Cancer Centre and is certified by the European Board in expert gynecological robotic surgery.
He further honed his skills in basic robotic surgery in New York, USA, and advanced robotic surgery in Belgium. Dr. Roy's primary focus is on "Onco-Fertility," a specialized area where he collaborates with infertility specialists to help preserve fertility in young women diagnosed with gynecological cancers.
His approach to cancer care is comprehensive, covering aspects such as cancer prevention, vaccination, screening, genetic testing, and precision oncology. Dr. Roy also performs advanced cancer surgeries and procedures like HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) and PIPAC (Pressurized IntraPeritoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy).
